L03: Weekly Reflection

This week was one of my favorites.  I learned about drop ship and affiliate business methods.  I have always been interested in these two methods.  I know many who do the affiliate method through instagram and blogs.  I have always thought about trying that model.  I did several searches on the affiliate method using instagram.

Some things I learned.
-A great way to use this method is by linking your words instead of banners.
-Find your voice, don't be a journalist.
-Make and editorial calendar.

Look up tagforlikes app for hashtags on instagram.  Sites to look up for affiliates with instagram are sharesale, ebates and stylinity.

Look up tapinfluence and influenz.

Do a behind the series from your blog onto instagram.

I also found out a lot about drop ship method but I am probably not interested in pursuing this method.  I found that I have a passion for affiliate.  I have been thinking of many options for blogs, vblogs and instagram.  I'm excited to see which one will become.

Lesson 2 reflection

This lesson I have learned a lot.  I learned about adword.   I can type in keywords that would be searched and find data on those keywords.  I can find out how much searches a keyword will get.  This is going to be very helpful as I continue my search for a business.  

I also learned about quantify and compare.  I haven't ever done this before.  I found it extremely helpful in making a decision between one or more choices.  Its all about making criteria and giving each criteria weight on the decision and then figuring out the best decision.  

I was surprised when I compared two different distributors.  I thought it was an easy choice between the two but when I really ran the formula it was a closer choice than I thought.  Which showed me how valuable it is to quantify and compare before you make a big decision.  There are things that I may not consider that may have some weight to it.
